The hornbill festival, which coincides with Nagaland’s statehood day and is considered as the festival of festivals. It features traditional arts, folk songs & dances, and, indigenous games. This extravagant 10-day long festival is held in the first week of December. Here, one gets the unique opportunity to indulge in the local handicraft stalls with articles featuring exquisite wood carvings, food stalls celebrating Naga Cuisine, and, giddy rice beer to set the perfect mood and feel for you. The festival is organized with the help of the state government of Nagaland, who take a lot of pride and initiative in displaying Nagaland’s native culture.

Meeting and assistance upon arrival at the Dimapur airport, where our representatives welcome and escort you to your car.

Upon arrival transfer to Kohima Camp, Nagaland. Spend the evening relaxing in the peaceful environs of the camp.

This morning we head to the Kisama village to witness the spectacular Hornbill Festival. Reveal in this marvelous melange of color as you witness all 16 tribes of Nagaland showcasing their diverse culture.

Later, return to the comforts of your luxurious camp.

This morning, immerse yourself in the vibrant extravaganza of the Hornbill Festival. Spend the afternoon at the quaint Angami village in Kigwema.

Today, explore the treasures of Kohima. Visit the Kohima World War 2 Cemetery built on a terraced hillside.
