The Victoria Falls!
The Victoria Falls are a natural wonder, known as the Mosi-oa-Tunya, or "smoke that thunders". The appropriateness of the name is revealed when the thundering roar surrounds you as the sparkling Zambezi River pours great cascades of white water over the tip of the falls. One could walk along trails to view this incredible natural splendour. The bird life here is also phenomenal. A true paradise for nature lovers.

Following an early breakfast, we will transfer to the Masai Mara airstrip for a short flight to Nairobi Wilson airport. We will be met and transfer to the Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your flight to Victoria Falls.
Upon arrival, our local representative will be waiting for you and later transfer to your hotel.

After breakfast, we will proceed towards our tour of Falls. The Victoria Falls is known locally as "Mosi-Oa-Tunya" which means the smoke that thunders. It offers some of the most breathtaking and magical sights in the world: a soaring spray, waters thundering down a terrifying gorge and peaceful lagoons upstream where hippos stretch out and deadly crocodiles lie in wait.
We will then participate in 15 minutes of helicopter flip. Departing from the helipad, located just 3 kilometres from the Victoria Falls town centre, the “Flight of Angels” is a scenic flight over Victoria Falls with an airtime of 12-13 minutes Tour of the Victoria Falls Visit Mosi Oa Tunya ‘the smoke that thunders’ – an apt description of the world’s greatest waterfall. A natural phenomenon and one of the seven natural Wonders of the World, the Victoria Falls is an immense curtain of water cascading over 100m. Around 550 million litres over the lip every minute, at peak flow this increases to 750 million litres. Around the Falls is rainforest sustained by the spray of the Falls with some plant species rarely found elsewhere in Zambia or Zimbabwe.
Later, afternoon Sunset cruise on the Zambezi river. Heading off downstream, meandering through the islands, the guides will talk to you and describe the flora and fauna as well as the prolific bird life and wildlife. Bird enthusiasts will be rewarded by sightings such as the African Finfoot, Open-billed Storks, Yellow-billed Storks and Sacred Ibis. The cruise is conducted at a slow pace for you to enjoy the relaxed ambience and the beauty of the mighty Zambezi river. Snacks and drinks are available during the trip. The Zambezi River Safari lasts about 2 hours.
Following the tour, we will return back to your hotel.

Suggested Optional Activity - White water rafting- Considered to be The Best One Day White Water Rafting Trip in the World..... A day that you will remember for the rest of your life and whatever time of year you go you are going to get wet.. very wet. Names of rapids like Stairway to Heaven, the Terminator, Oblivion, the Washing machine, Judgement day and Devils toilet bowl give you a small insight of what to expect. There are calm stretches of water in between these monster grade 5 rapids. This gives you plenty of time to chat and laugh with your fellow rafters, take in the breathtaking scenery, and view birds and other wildlife.
